Airlines. Becoming a registered diverse supplier with Southwest is the first step
on your path to the rewards of being a Southwest Supplier and is a prerequisite
to being considered for any future sourcing opportunities.
How to Register
There are 3 steps to the process:
- Complete the business profile (this includes uploading 3rd party diversity certifications)
- Print, sign and submit the mandatory Supplier Classification Form as prompted after
completing the registration form
- Upload any additional product /service information (i.e. e-brochures, line cards,
proposals, etc) in the "Extended Profile" section after completing the registration
form
Your registration will only be considered complete when all required fields have
been filled out (step 1) and a signed Supplier Classification Form (step 2) has
been received.
Before you get started...
Please be prepared to be provide the following information. You will need to be
able to provide this information in order to complete your profile:
- Basic Company Information (i.e. physical address, billing address, website, etc...)
- Federal Tax ID Number or EIN
- D&B DUNS Number (if applicable)
- Principal Owner Information
- Basic Contact Information
- Product/Service Information
- NAICS Code (click here
for more information)
- Annual Sales for the past 3 years
- Customer Reference(s)
- E-Business Readiness (i.e. is your company EDI capable?)
- Diversity Certification Information

After you complete the process...
You will receive an e-mail welcoming you into our Supplier Diversity Program. This
message will also include the name and e-mail address for the representative that
works with your commodity. The average processing time is 15 – 20 business days.
